My cousin recently returned from college on the east coast. He is only going to be home for about a week and then he is heading off to do an internship for school in another state. This means that he won’t be around to celebrate Father’s Day with his dad this year. This isn’t much of a problem, since they are able to just celebrate Father’s Day a little bit early this year.
My cousin bought his father a Pittsburgh Steelers NFL spare tire cover for Father’s Day. He is going to give it to his father after they attend a baseball game together this weekend. His father is really excited about getting to go to a baseball game with his son. My cousin can’t wait to see how happy his father will be when he gets the tire cover that he can use to support his favorite football team.
My uncle always has had a plain black spare tire cover on the back of his Jeep. He thinks that custom tire covers look silly, but he wants to make sure that his spare tire is protected from the dust on the road and from the glare of the sun. He likes black spare tire covers because his Jeep is also black and so these tire covers match the color of his Jeep.
My uncle won’t just settle for any spare tire cover. He has to have the best solid black spare tire cover that he can find. He has bought cheap tire covers before and was disappointed by the way these tire covers faded quickly in the sun and came apart. Now he is sure to only buy good quality black tire covers so that he doesn’t feel that he has been cheated.
One of my friends graduated from the University of Georgia several years ago. He has since gotten a job in his field and has been very successful so far. He is going to be getting married sometime next year and has a good life. In all of this time, he has not forgotten where he came from. He credits his experiences during college with giving him some of the best lessons he has learned in his lifetime.
Since leaving school he has kept up with the college that he graduate from. He routinely watches sports events and roots on his team at the stadium and in the comfort of his own home. He recently bought a Georgia Bulldogs black tire cover to further celebrate his school and his team. He will never forget the experiences that the University of Georgia gave him.
Most football fans aren’t too concerned with showing support for their team during this time of the year. Summertime is the time to be distracted by watching baseball and concerning yourself with people’s contracts and which players will remain on the team for next year. Without any games going on, your team doesn’t really need the push of support that you might give during the season.
For my grandfather, just because it is off season doesn’t mean that he stops supporting his team. Even during the off season he flies a Chicago Bears flag above his home each and every day. He also drives around with his Chicago Bears black tire cover proudly displayed on the back of his car. He doesn’t think that a little thing like off season should keep a fan from supporting their team.
My brother has been a New York Yankees fan for just about as long as I can remember. Ever since he was a little kid, he has loved watching them on TV. It didn’t matter that we didn’t live in New York. His heart was always with the Yankees rather than with our local team. He learned to play baseball at a young age and aspired to become a Yankee, but never was good enough at the game.
Last spring, he finally did one of the things that he has been dreaming of doing ever since he was a little boy. He got to actually attend one of the Yankees home games in New York. To celebrate the event he bought a New York Yankees tire cover to go on his Jeep when he got home. He really enjoyed watching his favorite team play and hopes to do it again sometime.
When my uncle was a teenager, he ended up moving away to go to college in Kansas. His family thought that it was a weird choice, but he really just thought that he might like it there. He ended up falling in love with Kansas City and decided to stay there when it came time for him to look for a job. He continues to live there to this very day.
Since he moved there he has come to love the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoy watching their football games. He has a lucky Kansas City Chiefs tire cover that makes an appearance on his car every year when he is rooting on his team. He says that he’s planning to get the tire cover out early this year to help prompt his team into victory as they start training.
One of my cousins recently learned to drive and got his license. Even though his parents have been nervous about him driving around by himself, they allowed him to buy a Jeep that he found for sale. He has already been learning a lot about cars in the process of fixing up the Jeep and making it so that it runs a lot better than it did when he first got it.
He was looking for cool spare tire covers to put on the Jeep as a finishing touch. He really wanted a spare tire that would show off something of his personality and make his car really unique rather than just like all of the rest of them. He ended up buying one of those tire covers that had a joke on the back of it because this matched with his unique sense of humor.
My grandpa moved away from his Illinois hometown when he was twenty four so that he could find work in another state. He ended up finding work and a bride and didn’t return home again except for on visits. Over the years, he has picked up some of the quirks of people from the west coast, but he has continued to religiously root for his dear Chicago bears.
His birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I am planning on getting him a Chicago Bears tire cover as a gift. He recently got a Jeep and so far he has left the spare tire on the back of his new car bare. I am hoping that he’ll be very excited when he sees the spare tire cover I got him. I want it to remind him of his home far away in Illinois.
One of my father’s favorite things to do in the fall is watch football on TV. He roots for specific college football teams as well a professional football team. He often watches the other games that come on as well, just so he can measure up the competition and anticipate what he has to expect from the teams later on in the season.
Since he loves football so much, I have decided to buy him an NFL spare tire cover for Father’s Day. I know that he will love having a spare tire cover with his team’s logo on it. It will be great for tailgating and just having to show his team pride whenever he is driving around. I can’t wait to put the spare tire cover on the back of his Jeep to surprise him.
