Showing Support with a New Orleans Saints Tire Cover
My father had a friend from the Navy who moved to New Orleans after he got out of the military. When hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, one of his buddies lost his home to the hurricane. My father really wanted to help show his support for his friend. He made donations to a relief fund in his friend’s name, but didn’t really feel like this would be enough.
My father went out and bought a New Orleans Saints tire cover to put on the back of his car. He took a picture of it and emailed it to his friend. His buddy got really excited when he saw it. It was clear that he appreciated my father’s support. The picture helped to bring a smile to his face in an otherwise unhappy time.
