51D2F60CT5LThere have been many notable alumni that have graduated from Florida State University. The school has generated two NASA astronauts, one of whom is currently a tenured Professor at the school, as well as three governors, and two Heisman Trophy winners. Whether it’s academia, politics, or the media, there have been many notable people who have graduated from the university.

Reynolds should be best known for his role as Gator McKlusky in the films White Lighting and its sequel Gator.

Lineage Leading To A Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Spare Tire Cover

Pittsburgh-Steelers-e1346074751780Here’s something weird that I learned recently: you might remember actress Rooney Mara from her starring roles in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, as well as her actress sister Kate Mara, who most recently starred on the Netflix original series House of Cards. As it turns out, the two of them are descendants of two founders of major NFL football teams.

Their great-grandfather on their father’s side, Tim Mara, was the founder of the New York Giants in 1925, while their great-grandfather on their mother’s side, Art Rooney, was the founder of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1933. These teams, of course, have surged in popularity over the years, and it is common to see a New York Giants jersey or a Pittsburgh Steelers NFL spare tire cover all over the country.
