circle_logo_florida_state_seminoles_car_magnet_3_inch_fsu_101_p147No matter where you went to college, it’s important to show off your pride. Whether or not you feel a deep connection to the school, you put a lot of money and time into getting that degree. It only makes sense to show off your accomplishment and investment. You might not want to show up to the office wearing a sweatshirt with your school mascot across the front, but there are simpler ways to have school pride.

Your vehicle is the easiest way to display your school pride without going over the top. If you went to Florida State, you can have a Seminoles decal in the window. If you went to Penn State, you can put the lion on your car with a simple bumper sticker. All of these stickers and decals come at an affordable price.

NCAA Tire Covers for Even Pro Football Fans

6.10p-ncaaI’ve always been a big NFL fan but one of my favorite aspects of the NFL is the draft. I love guessing which players are going to get picked by which teams and who’s going to be picked in what round. Because of my love for the draft, I tend to follow college football pretty closely as well, to the point where I love it almost as much as I love professional football.

It’s actually gotten to the point where I feel like I have more time to watch college football than I do to watch professional games. I’ve even picked up some NCAA tire covers for my favorite college teams. I’m always interested in following the players and seeing where they go; I really enjoy the process of moving from amateur to professional.

The Mascots on a Georgia Bulldogs Black Tire Cover

72a91e301bf1368db7d0175c35944619The Georgia Bulldogs have two well-known mascots: one is the costumed character known as Hairy Dawg, who is known as one of the most recognizable mascots in the country, while the other is Uga, an actual bulldog. Uga was named after the University of Georgia (or the U of GA) and is present at every home football game.

Since 1956, nine different dogs have used the name Uga and all are descended from the same lineage; Uga is generally replaced when his predecessor gets old or passes away. Some of the Uga mascots have been with the team for up to ten years. A Georgia Bulldogs black tire cover and other Bulldogs merchandise will often represent Uga or Hairy Dawg’s likeness on it.

Boston Red Sox Black Tire Cover for Yankees Haters

boston-redsox-logo1-289x208The Red Sox-Yankees rivalry is one of the best-known and greatest overall rivalries in sports history. Some say that it was initiated particularly by what is known as the Curse of the Bambino, which occurred when the owner of the Red Sox sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees, resulting in an 86-year period where the Red Sox did not win the World Series.

Even since the Curse of the Bambino was broken in 2004, when the Red Sox finally won the World Series, the rivalry has continued. Red Sox fans often sport jerseys or a Boston Red Sox black tire cover, while Yankees fans ridicule them and wear their own jerseys. There have even been instances of violence that have stemmed from arguments about the rivalry.

AUBURN SWIMMINGThough Auburn University is perhaps best known for their swimming and diving teams in recent years, as well as their equestrian team, they have also had quite a bit of success when it comes to football. The most recent football national championship won by the Auburn Tigers was in 2010, but they had been SEC championships only a few years beforehand.

Most important to the school, ultimately, is swimming and diving. Since 1997, the school has won eight men’s national championships and five women’s national championships for swimming and diving. Regardless of what sport they’re supporting, Tigers fans are sure to pick up a jersey or an NCAA Auburn Tigers tire cover to support their favorite team.

Different Colleges Have NCAA Tire Covers

college175Most of my closest friends from high school went to different colleges than I did after we graduated. These were people that I had been friends with for as long as I can remember, however, so we made sure to keep in touch even though some of us were in different states and sometimes in different countries. Though we were far apart during the school year, we always spent time together during summers.

You can always tell which of us is from which college based on the T-shirts and sweatshirts we wear, as well as our NCAA tire covers, which each feature the college teams that we support. It’s always interesting to hear about my friends’ college experiences and how they are similar and different from my own.

Fans Still Show Support with a Chicago Cubs Tire Cover

946417_10151606313505659_1733054711_nSometimes it’s tough to remain a Chicago Cubs fan. The Cubs hold the longest championship drought of all of the major North American professional sports teams, having not won the World Series in a hundred and four years in 1908. Regardless of this long-standing drought, there are still many fans of the team that hope every year that they will succeed.

As one of the two oldest active teams in major league North American sports, alongside the Atlanta Braves, the Cubs have had a lot of time to build up a large fan base, regardless of their championship drought. This is why it’s still common to see people wearing a Cubs jersey or sporting a Chicago Cubs tire cover, as they still believe their team will win someday.

The Origins Of The New York Yankees Tire Covers

dt.common.streams.StreamServer.clsWhen the New York Yankees was initially founded, they were actually known as the Baltimore Orioles. It wasn’t until 1903 that the team relocated to New York and adopted the name the New York Highlanders, though the press often referred to the team as the Yankees because it was an easier name to fit in the headlines of the sports page in newspapers.

Through the years, the Yankees have played in many home stadiums, from Hilltop Park to Shea Stadium to the current Yankee Stadium, which was built in 2009. Yankees fans have always been particularly dedicated to their team and they are often likely to be seen with merchandise such as a jersey or a New York Yankees tire cover.

Detroit Tigers Tire Cover Shows Support Even In Loss

April 30, 2013 @ 11:00 am
posted by Elite_Auto

detroit-tigers2012 was a turbulent year for Detroit Tigers baseball fans; in the first half of the 2012 season, the Tigers did alright. By the midway point, they were at 39-42, though the team did considerably better during the second half of the season. They in fact did so well that they ended the season with an 88-74 record and won the American League pennant.

However, when it came to the 2012 World Series, the Tigers did not do particularly well at all. They were faced against the Giants and lost four games to none; they were shut out twice, which was as many times as they had been shut out in the entire regular season. Regardless, fans still sported a Detroit Tigers tire cover or jersey to show their support.
